Epitalon is the synthetic variation of what researchers refer to as epithalamin. This is a peptide that the body typically creates on its own. However as we age it tends to decrease in production. Studies on the synthetic peptide epitalon have shown its ability to treat several areas of health. This includes being able to treat liver disorders and geriatrics as well as psychiatric and neuropathology. One that takes epitalon may show improvements in tension and stress relief as well as the normalization of the body’s metabolism and better sleep patterns.

The Epitalon peptide is an artificially created variation of the naturally produced Epithalamin, and is available from Propeptide Research Labs in 10 mg vials. While Epithalamin is naturally produced in the brain, Epitalon is synthetically created and is being studied for life extending and anti aging treatments.
Effects of Epitalon Peptide
Epitalon has shown promise as a treatment for liver disorders, geriatrics, psychiatry, and neuropathology. It has a long list of benefits including:
The Epitalon peptide is also being studied for use as a cancer preventative. It has shown powerful results in studies that attempt to inhibit the growth of malignant tumors. Additionally, epitalon has been shown to slow, stop, and even reverse aging on a cellular level due to its effects on telomeres.
Negative Effects
There have been no reported side effects of epitalon, either from clinical trials or from anecdotal self medication. Since being discovered in the 1980s, there have been zero cases of adverse effects.

Epitalon (also spelled Epithalon and Epithalone) is a synthetic version of a well-known polypeptide Epithalamine, which is produced in the pineal gland. Polypeptides, like all peptides, are short-chained amino acids held together by a peptide bond. Epithalon is also considered a tetrapeptide, which means that it consists of four amino acids bound by a peptide bond. Because the body naturally has peptides, peptide therapy can effectively improve your body’s performance and successfully provide numerous benefits.
Epitalon was first discovered by Professor Vladimir Khavinson and Vladimir Anisimov of Russia’s Saint Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. In fact, Anisimov is the one who came up with the name Epitalon for this particular peptide. The professors conducted numerous in vitro and vivo clinical trials and discovered much of what we now know about how epitalon peptide induces telomerase activity. In his clinical studies, Professor Khavinson noted that Epitalon’s primary role is to increase the production of telomerase in the body. Telomerase is an enzyme that helps keep cells young by adding DNA to the ends of chromosomes (telomeres). This process enables the body to grow new cells and rejuvenate old ones, which is why Epitalon is so effective at reducing signs of aging. In clinical studies, Epitalon was noted to produce telomere elongation in human somatic cells. And it was also noted that Epitalon peptide induces telomerase activity, which can also successfully reduce the effects of aging.
